About us
BEAMS for Industry is an evolving European platform that supports and facilitates the industrial use of facilities like MAX IV, DESY, and ESS to solve research and innovation challenges. It is a one-stop-shop where industry can find available resources, competences, expert partners, and activities to streamline innovation from concept to market.
The world-class capacity offered by BEAMS cannot be replicated in-house. Here, you can get inspired by different case studies detailing industrial research at large-scale research infrastructures (LSRIs), learn about the techniques available at these facilities, and connect with experts who can guide your research. The experts in the BEAMS network are skilled at all steps of the research process, from sample preparation and experimental design to data analysis and visualisation.
BEAMS (formerly MAXESS) is led by MAX IV Laboratory and Science Village Scandinavia AB with funding from Region Skåne and the European Union. The project is run in close collaboration with ESS, DESY, and other infrastructures. New LSRIs, experts, and academics are always welcome to join BEAMS.
