Description

NanoLund, founded in 1988, is the Centre for Nanoscience at Lund University and a Strategic Research Area funded by the Swedish government. The center engages 400 researchers within engineering, science and medicine and we are Sweden's largest research environment for nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Many of our researchers are frequent users of X-rays and neutrons for characterization of hard, as well as soft materials. We have access to a wide range of world-class characterization techniques including microscopes capable of single-atom imaging. We do atom-by-atom fabrications and study the structures to understand electronic, photonic and biological properties.
NanoLund is hosting Lund Nano Lab (Myfab Lund) as an open research facility available to academic research groups and users from industry. This micro- and nanofabrication facility is equipped with state-of-the-art semi-conductor processing and metrology equipment. Lund Nano Lab is a part of the Swedish Research Infrastructure Myfab.
