Biofilms Research Centre for Biointerfaces (BRCB) is a multidisciplinary research centre within materials and life sciences. The centre’s activities focus on phenomena associated with biofilms, biointerfaces and biobarriers. The practical applications of the research include development of diagnostic methods, treatment methods, drug formulation and the use and development of medical implants and sensors. The centre hosts Open Lab South where you can rent lab space, office space and instrumentation. In addition, you can get support from a qualified research engineer. The centre has SAXS/WAXS lab equipment that is open for external users.
