Looking to connect microstructure with material performance?
X-ray tomography offers a powerful way to bridge the gap between structure and function, providing insights that are often essential for advancing materials development.

At RISE, our microtomograph (Xradia MicroXCT-200) enables high-resolution, non-destructive 3D imaging with resolutions down to approximately 1 µm at a 1 mm field of view. We can accommodate samples up to 100 mm in diameter, 150 mm in height and weighing up to 1 kg, supporting a wide range of applications.

To better understand material behaviour under real conditions, we offer in-situ tensile and compression testing for samples up to 20 mm in width or diameter, with approximately 10 mm travel. This allows you to study structural evolution as it happens. We also develop tailored in-situ setups based on your specific needs and can perform time-resolved experiments for dynamic processes.
